Dharma’s Cafe

In 1972 Dharma began her spiritual journey when she embraced the loving devotional path of Bhakti yoga. She discovered her passion in the kitchen, preparing vegetarian food as a devotional offering to Krishna (God) and the community of New Vrindaban in the Appalachian Mountains near Wheeling, WV. Her passion for cooking inspired her to earn a living as a baker. For 22 years she poured her love and energy into her “World's Best Cookie” business. In 1995, after a health-care crisis, Dharma sought to understand “food as medicine and medicine as food.” During this period, she discovered her ability to channel light, and uses her knowledge, love, and light to heal, body, mind, and spirit.

Dharma’s Cafe will serve three vegetarian meals per day:

Breakfast - Oatmeal, Fruit, Eggs

Lunch - Veggie Burgers, Fruit

Supper - Soup, Vegetables, Bread

Meals will be served outdoors, and there is ample room for social distancing.

Fresh fruit and spring water from Berkeley Springs are also available each day at the Pavilion and Dharma’s Cafe.

Our goal is “zero waste.”  To support this goal, please bring your own bowl, plate, cup and utensils (wash stations will be available to clean your dining ware). We compost all food scraps, and will have recycle bins for glass, plastic, and paper.
